CD Design Final Drafts

Above I have created a couple of drafts for my CD's and their design. I have tried to stick witht the theme to a certain extent with the use of the lightening stirkes, and have stuck to the use of the colour blue, I made it slightly different from the rest of the digipak to make it stand out however this is just an experiment and I will decide what I do when I have compelted everything.

DIGIPAK IMAGES FINAL DRAFTS

These are a couple of drafts I have created for my Digipak, once again I have remained consistent with the use of colours and effects and since this is an emotional album with very deep meanings I have again used images of the artist looking quite emotional to convey this.

CD Back cover of album Final Drafts

Above are a couple of examples of drafts for my back cover, I have again remained consistent with the use of colours and effects to make sure everything links to together.

CD Album Front Cover Final Drafts

Above are a couple of drafts of what my final album cover will look like,  I have decided upon inverting the image on Photoshop because it makes the images look more interesting and also as well as this it fits in with the dubstep style of my Music Video as well as this it remains consistent in the sense that similair effects are also used in my music video so when thw audience see's it it links back to the music video.

Interesting/Potential Fonts to use on CD Album Cover

Above I have put together a couple of fonts which I have looked at and may consider when it comes to creating my CD Album Cover, these are all very eye catching which is important when choosing fonts however as well as this the thing I like about these fonts is that they convey the "electro/dubstep" genre very well, because when looking at a convention dubstep album the fonts are always crazy point fonts, which look very unique compared to an album such as Rihanna's or Katy Perry's.

Mock up - Ideas for CD Album Cover

Above are a couple of examples of different techniques I could use once I have got my images for my front cover, poster, Digipak, etc. I have taken an image from google which I will  later replace with my own original image and as I have done above I will also edit my own image on photoshop and use the effects I have experimented with above to see which ones would work well and which ones I wouldnt think would look good.
